Chase Scene Inspiration

This is a clip from Shank. It is a chase scene.

We really liked the pace of the editing and the types of camera angles and shots have been useful. We like the idea of handheld right in front of the guy’s face. A lot of the shots are hand held as well and the panic and confusion this creates would be useful for our concept. One of the first shots is filming the floor and the road markings which is great in showing the fast paced action. There is also a transition between shots that looks like TV static. This was part of the inspiration for the shot that we want that gives the POV of a security camera.
